Hace unas semanas tuvimos el placer de formar parte de House of Vans Barcelona, unos días llenos de cultura urbana, música, arte y skateboarding. Durante todo el sábado formamos parte del street market junto a otras marcas como Sour, Rufus, y también Hey Studio, tatuadores, barberos, artistas… Además de contar con un increíble espacio que englobaba una exposición sobre la historia de las míticas zapatillas Era de Vans, una colección de patines de Soren Mazoni, un skatepark, un espacio con foodtrucks para todos los gustos y una sala de conciertos.
Dentro de toda esta gran variedad, nosotros fuimos a hacer una de las cosas que más nos gustan: Estampar camisetas y mostrar a los curiosos que se acercaron - ¡que fueron muchas y muchos! - nuestro proceso de trabajo. Con dos diseños exclusivos para HOV, los participantes del workshop pudieron llevarse una camiseta estampada al momento, con el diseño, el color y la talla a su gusto.
En poco menos de 3 horas habíamos agotado todas las camisetas y el pulpo de estampación iba a 2000 por hora, sacando camisetas sin parar para contentar a todos los que pasaron por nuestro stand: niñas y niños que la talla S les iba de vestido, familias, adolescentes y post adolescentes de todas las edades.
Con este evento, inauguramos pues, Laser Print Shop: Un pop up itinerante que sirve para acercar nuestro taller y forma de trabajar a todo aquél que tenga ganas de conocerlo. En breves estaremos presentando el pop up en otros eventos y tendremos más novedades sobre éste. Stay tuned!
A few weeks ago we had the pleasure of being part of House of Vans Barcelona, some days full of urban culture, music, art and skateboarding. During the entire Saturday we participated in the street market together with other skateboarding brands such as Sour, Rufus as well as Hey Studio, tattoo artists, a barber shop and some more artists. On top of that, the space had an amazing exhibition about the legendary Vans model Era, an awesome collection of skateboards from Soren Mazoni, a skatepark, foodtrucks of all kinds and a concert room.
And between all this variety, we went do one of the things we love most: Printing tees and share with everyone who approached us - which actually was so many people! - our working process. With two exclusive designs for HOV the workshop participants could get a shirt printed specially for them, right there, with the design, color and size of their choice.
In less than 3 hours we’d had sold out all tees and the printing screens were going around to 2000 km/h, non stop making shirts to make everyone happy: kids who would wear S as a dress, families, teens and so many post teens of all ages.
With this event we inaugurated Laser Print Shop: An itinerant pop up that will bring our printing studio closer to anyone who is wishing to know it. We will be around again and will have some news about it very soon. Stay tuned!
