I started painting murals in the early 2000s, initially writing my name, but then always seeking out hidden spots where I could express my personality.
I'm Justo Heras, artist and Laser Barcelona’s creative director.
Bikes and art have been closely linked to me since childhood.
I still remember the first time I went painting with my bike, when I was just a teenager.
That's why having the opportunity to use my Omnium e-cargo to carry everything to paint, has been a game-changer for me.
Art is something we should democratize much more, to show up to new generations.
In my case, being able to introduce muralism to my children at such a young age, so they can gradually understand my shapes and colors, using figures they constantly reproduce in their drawings, creating our own imaginary world, and feeling capable of anything, is one of my greatest gifts.
Street culture has made me who I am today, so whether I'm facing a wall, drawing an illustration or designing something for Laser, my mindset will always be the same.
