2010 was a very special year for us, it's impossible to summarize it in just a minute, so here's a little summary, in horizontal format, because that's how we saw things back then ;)
It was when my friend Alfredo and I decided to start something we'd been preparing for a while.
Streetwear wasn't what we know it as now; it was done (in my opinion) in a more genuine way, and all the brands had a history.
Spain had a huge void that many independent brands filled, but everything was on a very local scale. I don't think any of them were looking to start a big company or get rich, like they do now, they were just trying to create something authentic, which is why many were left behind.
Back then, social media was not what it is now, and the city of Barcelona gave us everything we were looking for at the time. We could paint, go to exhibitions and concerts because there was a scene, ride bikes with our friends, and surf at Barceloneta when the waves were good.
Laser didn't start as a brand, but as a group of friends and their shared experiences, always in our workshop in Paral·lel, which was our meeting place, and that's where our story begins.
It all started in November 2010 when we all painted a wall together that no longer exists in the Forum. Fifteen years later, I remember those analog photos as if they were yesterday, because it was something spontaneous, but I also knew I would remember them for the rest of my life.

2010 es un año muy especial para nosotros, es imposible resumirlo en tan solo un minuto, asi que ahí va un pequeño testimonio, en horizontal, porque así es como veíamos las cosas por entonces ;)
Fue cuando mi amigo Alfredo y yo decidimos empezar algo que llevábamos tiempo preparando.
El streetwear no era lo que ahora conocemos como tal, se llevaba a cabo ( a mi parecer) de manera algo más genuina y todas las marcas tenían background.
España tenía un vacío enorme que muchas marcas independientes llenamos, pero todo a escala muy local, no creo que ninguna buscara fundar una gran empresa o hacerse rico, como ahora, solo llevar a cabo algo auténtico, por eso muchas se quedaron por el camino.
En esa época no había redes como ahora tampoco, y la ciudad de Barcelona nos daba todo aquello que buscábamos en aquel momento, podíamos pintar, ir a expos y conciertos porque había escena, montar en piñon fijo con los colegas y surfear en la barceloneta cuando habían olas.
Laser no empezó como una marca, sino como un grupo de amigos y sus vivencias, siempre en nuestro taller de Paralel, que era el centro de reunión, y de ahí parte nuestra historia.
Todo empieza en Noviembre de 2010 cuando pintamos todos juntos un muro que ya no existe en el Forum, 15 años después recuerdo esas fotos analógicas como si fuera ayer, porque fue algo espontáneo, pero también sabía que las recordaría el resto de mis días.
