Estas últimas semanas hemos compartido con vosotrxs algunas de las sugerencias para pasar una cuarentena más entretenida. Después de presentar las de nuestro pequeño equipo, hemos querido ampliarla a personas que aparecen a menudo en nuestros shootings y nuestras redes porque tienen un papel muy importante en Laser. Seguro que muchxs de vosotrxs os habéis preguntado quiénes son, verdad?
Todas estas personas son amigxs quienes llegamos a conocer a través de Laser: Clientes, compañeros de horas en ferias, artistas y creativxs que han conectado con Laser de una forma especial y han acabado siendo de la familia.
Nos encantaría poder hablar de todxs y cada unx de ellxs pero hemos tenido que hacer una pequeña selección.
Empezamos presentando a Ibai y Blanca, clientes de la tienda online desde tiempo atrás. Cuando se mudaron a Barcelona desde Vitoria, un día aparecieron por Doctor Dou y desde ese momento se creó un vínculo muy bonito.
Ibai, químico de profesión pero un apasionado como nadie de la fotografía siempre tiene una cámara en mano y ha documentado muchos de nuestros buenos momentos juntos. Blanca, sensible ilustradora y tatuadora de hand poke, nos ha echado una mano siempre que hemos necesitado.

This past week we have been sharing with you some of our quarantine suggestions. After presenting all of the ideas of our small team we though we could extend it to people who are appearing in our shootings and our social media because they do have a really important role in Laser. I'm sure many of you wondered who these people are, right?
All of them are friends who we met through Laser: Costumers, people whom we've share the long hours of festivals and showrooms, creatives and artists that connected with Laser in a special way and became part of the family.
We would love to speak about all of them but we had to make a short selection.
We are starting with Ibai and Blanca, costumers of our online store for a long time. After they moved to Barcelona from Vitoria, they appeared at Doctor Dou and from then on we created a really special bond.
Ibai, works as a chemist but he is so passionate about photography that he carries a camera wherever he goes. Blanca, sensible illustrator and hand poke tattooist, she helped us every time we needed a helping hand.
ENGANCHARSE A UN BUEN LIBRO
En esta cuarentena le estamos dedicando mucho tiempo a leer, y así hacer viajar nuestra imaginación. Solemos subir a la azotea para relajarnos con un rato de lectura y tomar el aire. Blanca está leyendo "La desaparición de Stephanie Mailer" de Joël Dicker, una novela policiaca súper intrigante; e Ibai está con "Más allá de los volcanes" de Yolanda Fidalgo, una novela que le está haciendo viajar entre París y Lanzarote (si ya tenía ganas de ir a Lanzarote, ahora más).
ENJOY A GOOD BOOK
During our quarantine we've been dedicating a lot of time to read so we can travel with our imagination. We usually go to the rooftop to relax, read and get some fresh air. Blanca is currently reading "The disappearance of Stephanie Mailer" from Joël Dicker, a super intriguing crime novel; and Ibai is with "Beyond the Volcanos" from Yolanda Fidalgo, a novel that is making him travel between Paris and Lanzarote (if he really wanted to go to Lanzarote, now even more).
PEGARSE UNOS BUENOS DESAYUNOS
Sin duda una de nuestras costumbres preferidas es desayunar fuerte y rico! No cuesta nada dedicar un poco más de tiempo a su preparación para después saborearlo. Nuestro menú suele ser: tostadas con aguacate y tomates cherry, batido de las frutas que tengamos en la nevera con bebida de avena y un buen café recién hecho. Además nos estamos aficionando a la repostería con recetas familiares y probando algunas nuevas de nuestros libros.
PREPARING GREAT BREAKFAST
It's no doubt that one of our favorite routines is have a delicious and powerful breakfast! It might take a little bit more preparation time but it's worth afterwards. Our menu usually consists in: avocado and cherry tomatoes toasts, smoothies with the fruits we have in the fridge with oat milk and a good coffee. We are also enjoying baking these days trying recipes from the family or from our cooking books.
TINTADO NATURAL
Blanca ha empezado a investigar sobre el tinte con pigmentos naturales. Ha hecho diferentes pruebas con algunos alimentos y especias que teníamos por casa utilizando una camiseta vieja de algodón. Los resultados han sido un amarillo potente de la cúrcuma, dos tonos diferentes de beige del café y del té, un rosa pálido del aguacate y sin duda, su preferido, los tonos rosáceos con manchas de la piel de la cebolla.
NATURAL DYEING
Blanca started to investigate with using natural pigments. She did different tests with some food and spices and an old cotton tee we had around the house. The results have been a strong yellow color from curcuma, two different tones of beige from coffee and tea, a pale pink from avocado and her favorite one, the pink spots from the onion skin.
POLAROIDS
A Ibai le apasiona la magia de la fotografía instantánea y ha estado retratando a Blanca con su polaroid SX70 desde que comenzó la cuarentena. Después de haber probado varias cámaras de este estilo, se queda con esta sin dudarlo ya que el enfoque manual y que sea de las únicas que no tiene flash integrado le permite jugar con las luces y sombras como a él le gusta.
POLAROIDS
Ibai loves the magic of the instantaneous photography and has been portraying Blanca with his Polaroid SX70 since the quarantine started. After having tried different cameras of this style, he sticks with this one since you have a control on the focus and it's one of the only ones that has not flash included so he can play with lights and shadows the way he likes.

Están siendo unos días de sofá y ver pelis, series y documentales. Hemos visto varios documentales que nos han hecho pensar y que por eso os recomendamos: "Cowspiracy" (Netflix), "This is Art" (Movistar+), "Jago: A Life Underwater" (Netflix) y "The True Cost" (su web).
WATCHING DOCUMENTARIES
These days are perfect for laying in the sofa and watching movies, series and documentaries. We've seen documentaries that made us think anda this is why we recommend you: "Cowspiracy" (Netflix), "This is Art" (Movistar+), "Jago: A Life Underwater" (Netflix) and "The True Cost" (their website).
NUESTRA PRENDA FAVORITA
Es muy difícil quedarnos solo con una prenda! Blanca se ha abrigado todos los viajes en bici de invierno con la bufanda de la colaboración con Hedof :) y a Ibai le encanta la textura (tanto por dentro como fuera) del jersey monstera de esta misma colección :)
