2011 was the culmination of everything I wanted to dedicate myself to.
At that time, I was balancing my life as an artist, where I painted some of the largest murals to date, with being a teacher and also running my brand with Alfredo, who at the end of that year decided to leave it to dedicate himself to his personal projects.
That year we launched our first t-shirt collection, and our friend JEOSM came from Madrid to photograph it. Also our first collaboration with our friends' magazine, Goodfellas.
Having our friends as models is something we've never stopped doing; we're not looking for fame or recognition, just to do what we love, and what better way to share it than with them, who are a true reflection of our identity.
That same year I moved to New York to study for a master's degree, where I spent a lot of time lost, searching for myself, taking analog photos, and thinking about what direction I wanted to take with Laser. The inspiration I found there was endless, and one of the highlights was meeting Steve Powers thanks to my friend Lizzie and seeing his murals in Philadelphia.
Without a doubt, continuing and focusing on Laser was one of the most important decisions of my life. What would you have done in my place?

2011 fue la consecución de todo a lo que me quería dedicar.
Por entonces compaginaba mi vida de artista, donde pinté algunos de los muros más grandes hasta entonces, con la de ser profesor y a la vez tener mi marca con Alfredo, que a finales de ese año decidió dejarla para dedicarse a su proyectos personales.
Ese año lanzamos nuestra primera colección de camisetas que nuestro amigo JEOSM vino de Madrid a retratar y nuestra primera colaboración con la revista de nuestros amigos de Goodfellas.
Que fueran y sean nuestros amigos los modelos es algo que nunca hemos dejado de hacer, no buscamos fama ni reconocimiento, solo hacer lo que nos gusta y qué mejor que compartirlo con ellos, que son el propio reflejo de nuestra identidad.
Ese mismo año me mudé a Nueva york a estudiar un máster, donde pasé mucho tiempo perdido, buscándome, haciendo fotos en analógico y pensando en que camino quería tomar con Laser, la inspiración de ese tiempo allí fue infinita, y uno de los highlights allí, fue conocer a Steve Powers gracias a mi amiga Lizzie y poder ver sus muros en Philadelphia.
Sin duda continuar y centrarme en Laser fue una de las decisiones más importantes de mi vida. Y tú, que habrías hecho en mi lugar?
